    I drove up that way one summer - a couple decades ago.

    At the time there was a sign warning of no GAS stations for the next 200km on the way to Timmins.

    I can’t imagine how sparse ev stations would be.

      Most EVs have more than 200km of range (even in the cold), and most homes have electricity – you can literally charge your car from a wall socket. Admittedly, it’ll take a few days, but it works. The only exception is when it’s bitterly cold – you need enough juice to heat the battery as well as charge it.
