Source: grew up in exactly this design of house, with a 30x20 garden, on 1/4 acre. None of this image looks right.

Nevermind the numerous cases of published papers being bunk. And that something like 80% of published science isn’t reproduceable…which is part of what publishing is to enable.
First, it’s not zero. Denver is 5000ft ASL and it’s in a valley (towns around it are higher). There’s a slow elevation change across the Midwest to the Rockies.
Second, Passes are a thing.
