The one by Phil Dragash is magnificent. Truly a work of art and love.
Music (mainly prog rock) and veggie loving, geeky cat butler living in Hertfordshire UK. A lover of all things LOTR (since I first read it over 50 years ago) scifi and what have you. Ex soldier (Royal Artillery) and other trades ;-)
The one by Phil Dragash is magnificent. Truly a work of art and love.
Expanse series as already mentioned and I’ll throw in The Rivers Of London series, narrated by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. Absolutely glorious. Can’t see how anyone could do the series better.
The Expanse series is narrated by Jefferson Mayes. He is absolutely magnificent and really does bring the books to life.
Just downloaded on BorrowBox from my library!
The Expanse.
Don’t think I’m alone either.
Does Neil himself narrate? I’ve heard a few things by him, he’s great.
Working through the Matthew Richardson section at the moment following a recommendation on here. Excellent stuff.
The Insider by Matthew Richardson. Love a good spy novel. And this is very good.
Act Of Oblivion by Robert Harris.
After a reccomendation on here, I’m working my way through the World War series by Harry Turtledove. Currently halfway through Striking The Balance. Excellent series but I must admit to skimming in places in this volume. I feel that it’s been padded out a bit. Will keep on though and finish the series. Excellent author and really does go into alternative history scenarios with detail.
Also, as I have since about 1967, constantly reading The Lord Of The Rings ;-)
Chris Barrie does a better job of voicing Lister than Craig Charles!
