Been reading The Green Mile by King.

I need to finish by Saturday for book club, but after that I plan on starting The Eye of the World.

I’ve only read the first book, but I enjoyed it quite a lot.

I similarly have not seen the newer movies, I’m waiting for my wife to finish the book first.

I got back into reading this year during the reddit migration and fully binged through Mistborn 1 + Secret History and finished Stormlight 5 a few weeks before Christmas. I read Alloy of Law in maybe two days and was so thoroughly interested in Wax and Wayne and was a bit sad it was so short. Shadows of Self seems to be a bit longer, but not as long as any of the Stormlight series or even Final Empire.

I’d say they count for at least two - unless it’s Alloy of Law and Shadows of Self. Been reading those recently and they’re quite short!
