Depends on brand. And my head always hurts after inhaling them for more than a minute without a fume extractor. (I just use a PC fan and some old who-knows-what HEPA-like filter discarded from ventilation equipment. For quick jobs, I hold my breath and/or move out of the way.)
What it looks like: You shat all over the board.
What it smells like: Nasty chemicals but only when hot.
What it does: it helps distribute heat, and causes the solder to be less viscuous and stick to metals readily.
What it feels like to start using it: Wow, it’s like I just gained one year of soldering experience!
What it feels like to remove it from the board after soldering: Aargh… I swear, one more board and I go buy an ultrasonic cleaner. (Some brands are easier but I usually need to employ a spudger, brush, then alcohol annd Q-tip)
Note that some solder comes with a core that contains flux or some similar substance of that effect.
If you have problems, you should probably add flux (make sure to extract fumes if soldering with flux for a while). Some say there is never enough flux.
Definitely, you can see some lines in the top left zigzagging back left, which would not be possible if each was a function of the x-axis. In fact, both axes are a function of the hidden z-axis, which is time and comes in discrete yearly steps, the latest of which (2021) is highlighted.

They are astronomers, they calculated the height in metric units. The fact that the threshold works out to exactly .15 kilomiles is a coincidence. /s

You’re confusing 50% lethal dose (medical property of a substance in relation to the body) with death rate (property of a death cause, obtained statistically from a population at a specific time). This is pure medical data which still may be slightly inaccurate, but you can easily check relevant scientific papers for their estimate of the LD₅₀. I think all values presented here are correct within a factor of 2, unless you find a reputable journal stating a very different result. Each substance is available in different concentrations and humans’ exposure to them also varies. You can get lots of pure water, sugar or gasoline easily but not a gram of viruses. Nobody would voluntarily consume a substantial amount of gasoline but nanograms of viruses come and go in the air all the time.
It is somewhat misleading to group poisons, radioactive isotopes and viruses as they work in very different ways, but the gist is correct. And yes, the LD₅₀ is still a statistical estimate dependent on the humans studied, but not on society etc. like the death rate.
Edit: some substances will be ejected by the body relatively fast (water), some bioaccumulate (heavy metals) and some “biomutiply” (viruses). This is why you haven’t died despite having drunk lots of water.
